Refunds and Cancellations
Voluntary Cancellations
If you need to cancel your hotel booking, you may be eligible for a partial refund depending on the hotel’s cancellation policy and room rate conditions.
- Cancellations must be requested before the hotel’s specified deadline to avoid penalties.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may result in no refund.
- Refunds are only available within the booking’s validity period and if permitted by the hotel’s policy.
- Non-refundable or discounted rates may not be eligible for refunds or may be partially refundable.
- For partially used stays, refunds are based on the unused portion of the booking, if allowed by the hotel.
- Additional services (e.g., spa, tours, transfers) are not automatically canceled with the room. Contact the service provider directly to cancel these.
A $50 processing fee per booking applies for cancellations or changes requested through our customer care team.
Involuntary Cancellations
If the hotel cancels or significantly changes your reservation, we will notify you as soon as possible. You may:
- Accept alternative accommodation options provided by the hotel.
- Request a refund, subject to the hotel’s policy.
YeloHolidays is not responsible for additional costs or changes resulting from hotel actions. A $50 processing fee may apply for refund requests processed by our team.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, PayPal) within 10 business days for eligible bookings. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Administrative fees, hotel penalties, or other charges are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount.
Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact our customer service team before initiating a chargeback with your credit card provider. By booking with YeloHolidays, you agree to our cancellation and refund policies, which are disclosed at the time of booking.
The following chargeback scenarios are considered invalid, and we reserve the right to dispute them and recover associated costs:
- Chargebacks for non-refundable bookings, even if the room was used.
- Chargebacks due to failure to cancel in time or no-show for a booking.
- Chargebacks resulting from non-compliance with these terms or hotel policies.
- Chargebacks for unauthorized use of a payment card by a third party.
- Chargebacks due to dissatisfaction with a service that was provided as described.
- Chargebacks related to travel restrictions, COVID-19 policies, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, hotel closure).
